Pigeon Racing is the sport in contact with Homing Pigeons, my love and passion for their beauty, agility and intelligence. My respects to them for their great services rendered to humanity since 2700 years before Jesus Christ to date. They are mentioned in the Bible, in natural disasters, finance, wars, social services as means of communication. Currently, as prevention to global warming and possible natural disasters on earth, Japan and China are acquiring the best homing pigeons in the world.
I continue in this sport and hobby that goes back to the times of my ancestors; my grandfather Paul Timmermann passed it on to us since he lived in Germany, his native country; my father, Fritz Timmermann, passed it on to me; my wife Maria Luisa and me down to our sons Pablo, Miguel and Ricardo, and our granddaughter Maria Luisa, and, I hope also to my granddaughter Blanquita.
In my life I always dreamed of promoting the breeding of these noble birds wherever, achieving their recognition as "Symbol of Communications and Heritage of Humanity", building the Home of the Pigeon Racer and sopporting the regulation of racing pigeon breeding according to the breeder's home area, among other lesser ones.
Our pigeon line is characterized by having black eyes and varied colors like barless blue, white-bar blue, almond, clay-colored or red, among other classic colors, with the majority being of solid colors, in them running the bloodline of the Janssen, Stassart, Sion, Meuleman, Brugerman and Jan Arrden.
We are going to promote racing pigeon breeding in South America, starting with Peru. We will build a Racing Pigeon Coliseum inside a Horse Race Track for the purpose of racing and demonstrations. If you are going to retire an active breeder that would serve our purposes, we will gladly receive it along with its pedigree and flight record, which will be used to promote our sport in Latin America.
My specialty is Business Administration and their repotentialization and improvements in their production; in all the companies where I rendered my services I characterized myself for improving their productivity from 98% up to 238%.
We the Timmermanns come from a family with military instruction, as well as, on my maternal side, for more than three generations, with fondness for sports and contact with nature; with great ability for the arts and with a very good way of life in business; with conservative customs and passing on our roots and customs down in the family; fond of team working; my grandfather Paul would say that the Timmermanns must not forget the German language; my father Fritz in Peru that of Quechua/Aymara and Castilian/Spanish; today I say also English, the language of the country hosting us, to which we give our inmense gratitude.
I was cofounder of the Racing Pigeon Association of Lima, Peru, as sole junior partner, in January 1960. Later on with several neighborhood friends founded the Racing Pigeon Club of San Antonio-Miraflores in Lima, Peru. In 1985 we founded the Peruvian Racing Pigeon Association "Felix Gonzalez Del Valle" - APCO (today just APCO), in honor of the patriarch of the Peruvian Racing Pigeon Association, which is afiliated, registered and recognized by the Ibero-Latin American Association - AILAC, and the International Racing Pigeon Federation - FCI. In the U.S. I am a member of the American Racing Pigeon Union, Inc.
Due to the forgoing, friends, our PROVITAE Foundation has set, with your help, the following objectives and goals:
- Achieve the full recognition of the PROVITAE Foundation.
- Achieve that the homing pigeon is recognized worldwide as "Symbol of Communications and Heritage of Humanity".
- Regulate the possession of homing pigeons within the city.
PROVITÆ, in order to achieve its objectives and goals, in addition to donations from its sympathizers, will sponsor the International Animal and Plant Fair, along with everything related to Ecologic and Environmental advocacy, among other goals we will achieve to safeguard and promote the afinity in the international community.
